Come and join us at Belmont Lake State Park from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 7 when we roll-out our first Kids Bike Swap and Health Fair. Along with our partners from Knog Cycling and Outdoor Gear, Northwell Health and others, we’ll be presenting helpful information about bike safety and personal health through a series of events that day.
Here’s how it works: Trade in the bike your child has outgrown for a refurbished bike and new helmet. There are no tickets to this event. Bikes are distributed first come, first served. Children must be present with a parent or legal guardian, and have a used bike to swap. Please expect to sign in upon arrival to get your place in line for the Swap.
The Kids Bike Swap starts at 11 am and ends at 1 pm.
Sounds exciting, right? To get there, just take exit 38 off the Southern State Parkway and once you enter the park, you’ll find us located across from the Oak Pavilion.
